Project details
The company
The vision behind WearPatch is to reduce the textile waste by reusing, recycling en upcycling forgotten sweaters. Combining fashion research with product design methods give WearPatch its uniqueness.
The project
This project started as an idea on a piece of paper. Together with Hasmik Matevosyan, a Dutch fashion researcher and designer, the idea could be realized in the form of a fashion start-up. The project is being funded by a private investor.
My role
My role within WearPatch is to ensure that our decisions are made in line with to our vision. As the start-up is managed by two people it varies a lot which activities are to be done. I am mainly responsible for the brand communication, online marketing via social media, business contacts and investments.
